Impromptu procession for Quinn
My dad and I went to the mortuary on Monday morning to start the paperwork and take Quinn’s tuxedo to them. On the way home, as I was driving down Statenlaan, there were some of his colleagues, dressed in their telltale orange, sweeping the main road. About 4 on each side, and about 6-10 feet apart, it was sheer coincidence, but the timing of it made me shed a little tear. Like an honor guard giving him a send-off. He would have appreciated the synchronicity.
